Blower motor doesn't run

Default Blower motor doesn't run

i have had this problem since the car got painted the heat would turn on fine with the key on but when you start the car it turns off. it is a 1995 civic dx i replaced the blower motor and the blower motor resistor and it is still doin it. anyone have any idea

You are talking about the blower not the heat, right?

yea im talkin bout the blower it will turn on fine with the key on but when u start the car it wont turn on and i have the controls on like 1,2,3,4

You may have an ignition switch problem. Does anything else electrical not work after the engine is started?

no and it started to work today but its not everytime and how hard is an ignition switch to replace

Does the rear window defogger also stop working? If so, the ignition switch is probably bad.

What fuse?

If unplugging the blower motor prevents the fuse from blowing, then the motor likely is bad due to a short inside.

well this weekend i replaced the ignition switch and its still doin the same thing as it was before i am running out of ideas

You must test before replacing parts. Your strategy will get expensive fast.
