Someone had to say it.....
Check your fuse box. The cover should point out where the fuse is and if your fuse is ok and you have done no "mods" to your turnsignals then you might just need a new bulb.

Relay, maybe. On some vehicles, if one of the bulbs is out on one side, the opposite end(on the same side) will blink faster than normal-or not work at all.

Check the clock fuse under the dash and the hazard fuse under the hood.

Sorry, it should be listed as: "Back-up light" in the under dash fuse box. It's a 10 amp.

Probably a wiring problem then.

does your emergency blinkers work? Do you hear a TICK TICK TICK? or no sound at all? perhaps its your turn signal relay.

hmmm if your emergency flashers work and you hear the TICK's, then you can trace it by feeling the right relay.

Ummm its one of the small black squares next to your fuse box. couldn't tell u exactly, perhaps a search will bring up a diagram?

yeah its a black square about 1"x1". Do you have a neighbor that has a working civic? Have them turn on the blinkers to u can trace the location.

bad relay=no blink or strange blinking.
