Default blinker blinks too fast after fixing it

I tried fixing my blinker in my 95 DX. before it worked fine, then something hit it or something and frayed the wires and knocked out the blinker socket so it didn't work. So i got a new blinker pigtail, cut the wires beyond the frays, and wired in the new blinker with heat shrink connectors. It now blinks, but it blinks too fast.

Also, when i took the lens of it was filthy so i cleaned it out. I read on here to use blinker fluid, and i tried walmart then advanced auto and neither had it. Then i went to a shop and told a guy what i was trying to do, and he said he had some in a big jug, so he poured it into a water bottle and gave that to me. it cleaned most of the dirt out, but some stayed in there. But now i have an even bigger problem, theres lot of fluid still in the blinker. I can't figure out how to get rid of it, it won't drain out. If you know how to drain it out please help me.

WHY IS IT BLINKING TOO FAST? FORGET ABOUT THE WETNESS, MAYBE IT WILL EVAPORATE

Report me.

BTW. There is no such thing as blinker fluid. On the off-chance that you are serious. As for getting it out you can put it in the oven and boil it off.

Does anyone have any serious answers on how to remedy my hyper flash blinker?

1.There is no product called blinker fluid.
It may be the repair on the wires affected the resistance back to the blinker relay, hence the blinker cycles too fast.
I assume your bulb is good, and the correct bulb, per the owner's manual.
Remove the bulb, and allow the interior to dry, a hair dryer may help.

I dont know what its actually called I didnt see the jug, but when I told him I was trying to clean out my lens and said blinker fluid (a product I read about here on this website) he told me he had it and that's what he gave me. If what you guys are telling me is correct maybe it was a soap for automotive plastic or something.

I'm not sure how good the bulb is, it came out of the delsol I got the pigtail from. I'll check the wires to make sure they're conductive enough. And buy some new bulbs it never hurts to have a spare in the car anyway.

I think OP isn't conveying the proper term. Blinker Interior Lens CLEANER fluid. The mechanic knew what he meant and gave him some high potency cleaner safe for plastic but does well with moss, mildew and dirt.

OP, you can lead a horse to water and as usual, you can't make them drink, not even if you flavor the water all nice and neat.

And I'm not really sure how the plastic of the blinker lens will handle even low oven temps of 325 degrees. I'd suggest turning on your air compressor and blowing air into it. It may help speed up the evaporative process.

Fast blinking means the resistance has changed in the circuit. When a bulb burns out it makes one leg of the circuit be open. I would check your pigtail solder work.

Did you test the bulb/pigtail outside of the lens?
