Your rings have nothing to do with black smoke. The smoke would be blue if they were bad. Your running rich.

tru i was always under impression that black smoke meant bad rings... sorry for that bad source... but no CEL, car seems to run fine, and I was about to get it fully tuned in about a week so it should set all my fuel to the right measurements correct..?? after that if im still having a problem than maybe i could proceed to believe it may be rings..??

Bad rings will never cause cause balck smoke. because your car is a 94 and OBD 1, It kinda sketchy as to if it might turn your CEL light on. Let it get the tune up and see if it works better after that. otherwise you will have to dig in further.
