Default bigger rims and tires

this is my first post in this forum, and i was wondering, when i get the money to buy bigger better wheels and tires for my 1996 civic ex, ive heard that installing bigger wheels will make the speedometer and odometer "go out of wack" so to say. is this true, and if so how would i go about fixing it? thanks

As long as you get the correct size tire, you shouldnt have any problems with the odometer or speedometer. Go to tirerack.com and search for the correct tire size you need according to rim size.

i think that if you install a bigger wheel you can go 2¨ bigger without changing your cluster reading of course if your using the right size of tires .and if you go bigger than that your starting to change reading a bit
