Big problem with turbo sohc Need help asap!
so heres the story...
i had stock 99 sohc swap into my civic turbo. I was dyno tuned for this setup... a while ago i decided to rip apart the motor and build it..
I now have 100 miles on the motor and the car tends to over=heat once and a while..when it does i blast the heat inside and it will drop.
I just recently put new headgasket, thermostat, waterpump, thicker core radiator, new cap, slim fan, and checked all hoses
here's my setup
y8 block
z6 head(i think here's the problem)
darton sleeves
vitara 8:5:1 pistons
eagle rods
Arp headstuds
arp rod bolts
I've been told the y8 and z6 heads/ignition timing is different..could it be possible that since im running my old setup tuned ecu for the y8 timing is causing my car to overheat?
I need opinions im running out of ideas and im gettin fustrated....
