jesus, so far back. 92 sohc vtec engine with headers, exhaust, CAI, plugs, wires, ignition, cam, cam gear, mild port and polish, um thats all i can remember.

Ran consistant 14.7's not bad for the first gen of the honda vtecs D16 power (back in the day) but she never gave a problem ever!

on a iceman intake, thermal (race) exhaust, DC header, jg 85vt cam, gutted, stock wheels...15.0 @ MIR, Va.

i'll post pic of my timeslip.... Some of the guys from VA Beach with Gude packages were running high 15s. They were wondering how I was running so fast. Too bad my timing belt went out on me....time for b18c!

run 1
R/T .900
60' 2.487
330 7.034
1/8 10.759

Pulled a best of 16.134 @ 84.8mph in my '98 EX coupe w/ AEM CAI, DC header, Si catback, stock slipping clutch.

My friend with a '99 DX coupe pulled a 16.00 @ 84mph with I/H/E and a Y8 manifold not too long ago, and all these times are at Moroso in WPB Fl, which is typically a slower track

My buddy ran a 15 flat with a d16 in his CRX. Now hes boosting that motor. Its fast for what it is and what little cash he has into it.

my 00 ex coupe w/ automatic did a best of 17.01 at 79mph. I had cai, 4-2-1 header, evolution exhaust, cam gear and pulleys. I know it's not the best time, but now i have a turbo and at not even 4psi it pulled a 15.63 @ 89mph, much better than before.

My very first time at the track, I did VERY badly. 17.4 but with a 2.8 60ft. Its a 99 Ex coupe 5spd w/AEM CAI and Dc cat-back.

If I can get my 60ft to like 2.3 or 2.4, how much do u estimate I can shave off that pathetic 17.4?

You need to get that 60 ft down to a 2.2 or so :/

Wow you guys are getting some pretty good times. Better than I expected SOHC motors could do . My friend hit a low 14 in his 96 coupe DX, SOHC VTEC motor.

Well they could be better, i'd be in the low 15's high 14's if it would of been pushing 5psi instead of not even 4psi due to the heat.
