Best repair manual for a Civic?
What's the best repair manual for a Civic? I just need a guide for day to day labor. I don't really know very much about cars, but I'm sick of feeling helpless when something goes wrong with my car. I see a lot of people saying that Helms is the best, but this forum is technically-oriented. Are the helms manuals overly technical or are they readable by a newbie too? Haynes? Chilton? Are those any better? Thanks.

i use a Haynes for my civic and integra (same book) and it works just fine. i personally would only buy a helms right before my car has recived a transplant and i would buy the helms for what ever motor i decided. yes you can read a helms but for normal day to day not techincly inclined work a haynes will get you by.

Just get a Helms. It'll cost $60 compared the $30 you would pay for a chilton or haynes. You will be much happier with the Helms.
