Re: best removed weight? (missionaryrider)
well take out everything that isnt needed to run the car: trunk, spare, tools, passenger seat, rear seats, carpet, tar, headliner, door panels, plastic panels, center console, power steering, ac, windshield washer motor and fluid. you can also get a racing battery, racing seat, carbon fiber hood, lexan windows, etc. there is plenty you can do it all depends on what you want to do!!!

Re: best removed weight? (JDMSiGuy17)
Ac
Ps
Rear Seat
Rear Panels
Rear Carpet
Rear Seatbelts
Spare Tire
Jack
Wiper Reso and lines
Aftermarket Steering Wheel
Passenger Airbag
All sound deadening from dash to hatch
Traded stock front seats out for lightweight buckets
Traded stock steelies for lightweight wheels
Alum Rear LCA's 4lbs right there
I'm wanting to do a fal rear window w/ carbon hatch, but I'm not big on stuff not fitting perfect, same reason I haven't gotten a c/f yet. I had one before huge weight savings, but just didn't fit like oem, so I sold it.
As soon as I go in for a respray, I will remove the entire interior including headliner/pillars/doorpanels/front carpet/consoles/armrest, and just rock the painted interior.
