rear seat question
I was debating on whether it would be worth it to remove my rear seats. I dont use them hardly at all, I figured it could save a little bit of weight. I already removbed ac, airbags, spare and jack. I have a hatch and im worried about thhe noise from the road, and I have no idea what i would put in the place of the seats so it would look decent and still save for weight. Keep in mind I have a single sub back there(i know that aint the best for weight but I need my sounds). Pictrues or ideas would help. And if anyone knows how much those rear seats weight. thanks

Re: rear seat question (dogfood)
NO... i took out my interior to get at my sidemoldings... heress the scoop... i weighed Doorpanels, rear panels, full rear seat and my whole AC system all together.. it only weighed a mere 80 lbs.. not worth it at alll. and that was in a coupe...

Road noise isn't bad. It's the exhaust noise that can be annoying.

Custom carpet. It's not expensive either.

Almost nothing. After removing my tire, jack, rear interior panels, seats, seat belts, and what else that I ripped out.....probably around 40 lbs.....noticable though.

Re: rear seat question (dogfood)
I would do it. I already have . I would also suggest using some dry ice and a paint scraper to remove all that stick sound deadener from the floor and the insulation behind your dash. You can lose about 150lbs from all of this. Oh yeah lose the spare, jack and any other bullshit you may have hidden in the trunk. Donate the misc junk to a museum cause you know it has been in there for a while, LOL! Happy Tuning!!!
