Re: best question to ask a ricer... (BW)
Some guy in a CRX told me he had a Greddy ECU, and pointed to his Fuse box inside the engine bay with a Greddy sticker on top. =x

Re: best question to ask a ricer... (B18C5-EH2)
I always ask them how much horsepower and torque those altezza's or "euro" taillights add
Or how about:
How much did my repainting my car add in terms of horsepower?
How much do real-deal JDM wheels add in terms of horsepower?
How much horsepower did swapping GS-R seats into my car add?
How much horsepower does adding ITR 5-lugs to your car add?
How much horsepower did that C/F hood add?
See my point? The "cool" mods that aren't "ricey" aren't always functional either. It's not a good argument to try and snap on a "ricer" for Altezza lights by asking him how much horsepower it added, because if he was smart he'd ask you how much horsepower your JDM lights added.
Do I like Altezza lights?
Hell no, but it's becoming more useless to try and rip on those who own them because it's wasted energy. How about focusing that energy towards heliping someone else, or your own car or yourself?
Sorry, but the whole "ricer" thing is annoying. The term itself is lame. It's what the rednecks used to call anyone who drove a Honda back in the day, so now we're using it aginst each other?
Can we not just move on and get over the fact that people are buying crappy parts?

Re: best question to ask a ricer... (b18ccivichb)
it seems like everything is starting to be rice or riced out or whateva. i say do whateva you want to your car. it seems like any1 with a body kit gets marked as a ricer on this board. how come i dont see ppl with c-west kits and bomex kits getting flamed on? last time i checked those were body kits too.

Re: best question to ask a ricer... (EBP_SI)
There are big differences between installing a Bomex kit or say a no-name branded gaudy **** and putting a shopping cart style wing on the back. Also so people like to build show cars!!! As long as it tastefully done...ok

Re: best question to ask a ricer... (TURBOED-TEG)
to be honest,i hear stupider questions right here on this board all the time, what the hell makes everyone on here think they know everything, lay off the "ricers"(stupid term),most of them are 16-18 year olds who just got a car and dont give a rats *** about being fast,it makes you look stupid if you ask me for even giving them so much thought,HOW MANY PEOPLE SPEND MEGA $$ ON THIS BOARD TO MAKE THIER CAR LOOK STOCK??i hear it all the time,i paid xx$$ for these jdm lights,to be honest no one even knows if they are jdm till they get within 2 feet of them,do jdm lights work better ,NO.so they have just as much room to talk as you do,evry one is allowed to do what ever they want to with thier money to their own car.

who's dumb? The one with useless **** on their car? or the one's buying Spoon Socks just to cover useless ****?? Hmm....???
People always talk **** about how "rice" someone elses car is and what bad taste they have.. yet they think they are the god of hondas cuz they put Vision corner on.
