best engine swap for eg?
I was wondering what the best engine swap is for the eg, I currently have a d16 that was in it when I bought the car, I'm new to civics so I don't know much about them, I was thinking the k20 since I'm contemplating an RSX dash swap, could just pull the whole dash and everything corresponding to it and the engine and swap them, but I would like some other opinions

It's the FAQs sticky thread. It's there. Try harder. Short answer? Buy the biggest engine you can afford - any Honda motor can fit in a Civic.

Where does the LS VTEC come from, what's the engine code, pls forgive me, I am tuner lingo ignorant, just know what I like and doing it lol, I'm from mississippi, so there's not a lot of tuners around here, not real tuners anyway, about how much did that run you
Cool, thanks, I'd still like some personal opinions, setups and stories tho

Also, I'm not a mechanic by no means, I do pretty good on this stuff, plus my friend is a mechanic, with that being said, I'm looking for something that would be basically bolt on, I understand wiring quite well, I am mecp certified, but I would rather not have to do any chassis modification or motor mount type stuff if possible, sorry if I sound picky, I'm just throwing what I'm looking for out there so I can get the advice I'm looking for, thanks
I'm not looking for a hand to hold, or an attitude, I'm asking for help from ppl that would like to discuss and help me

This has been discussed, beaten to death, argued, debated, and every other word or phrase for "discussed" you can imagine. If you bothered taking some time to read and educate yourself, you would have all the help you need. As it stands, you are not willing to search and read, and expect people to tell you what to do - that's called hand holding.

I just said that I am ignorant to a lot of these terms, I didn't know the FAQ was there because it does not show up on my app, I have searched for this and came up with nothing that helps me figure out what I want to do, asking for ppls opinions is not hand holding, ppl have different views and opinions on things, just like you obviously have a different view of "helping", I appreciate you giving me the link for the FAQ, but unless you have something else positive to say to help, I would appreciate it if you would take your comments elsewhere, thank you

Re: best engine swap for eg?
Here is an example that I don't think has been covered here exactly. It's a built K24 block with a K20 head and turbo putting out 1125 HP.
http://dsportmag.com/browse/cover-story/learning-curve
It will give you an idea of just what all you have to go through if you want anything serious with your EG. The one thing I didn't notice in the article is what axles he had to use to handle the power. They did mention the custom tranny bell housing.
I'm sure this setup ran him at least 25,000 when it was all said and done.
