before SS header install- remove fingerprints with???
I've heard that you should remove the oil from finger prints on a SS header with a couple differenct things before install, what's the best? Blue away (I think that's what it's called), rubbing alcohol, windex, etc.????? thanks for the help.

windex will do fine.....i used some window cleaner called aquamist...it's what we get at work so that's what i used b/c it was handy and it did the trick....

you should definitely clean it you dont want those prints to be permanent when it starts turning all chameleon. is that the coreect term when a header starts to discolor. anyways i love the way it looks.

a tip for you!! if you get some vht header paint and spray it inside the header down the tubes and coat the inside the header will not discolor

I kinda like SS headers when they're shiny gold
You can always wear latex gloves when you go put the header on...that should keep the fingerprints off.
