I just bought a 2004 Civic VP, and twice it's made a weird beeping noise. It happened once when I was driving around a city by my house, and again on the PA Turnpike. Anybody have any ideas what it could be?

where does the noise seem like it's coming from.

it sounds like it's coming from either my dash, or underneath it

I had the same thing happen to me but it was a 2000 civic, seemed to only happen when you were parked. It was not the door chime either. Never figured it out.

easy solution, i say take it back to the dealership and tell them. Maybe they could explain?????

Yeah my seatbelt was on. The noise sounds like a radar detector or something, but unless the've started coming stock on new honda's (which I seriously doubt) then i couldn't be one, because I don't have one. It's only happened twice in the month I've owned the car, so it's not like it's bothering me, I'm just curious...
