BB-MS question
First off, I searched, I couldn't find aswers.
I basically have a '00 SI brake setup on my EG.
It works fine but I'd like the better modulation that the 1" gives you. (I got to drive a coupe with a 1" MS and loved it)
So the question is, do I need to switch brake boosters or will a 1" bolt up to the '00 SI BB?
and what did the 1" come in?
I know that the ITR came with it, but I've seen GSRs with 1" also... I'm not sure if they're upgraded or not.

yep, i ran into that after I had already removed my old bb/mc. had to put the old crap back in, still haven't dealt with the lines yet, but i guess I'll have to sooner or later.

ok, since you've done it, how difficult is reflaring the line?
what tool/parts would I need?
I'd still like to go with a 1" but the reflaring aspect worries me.

I had been corrected yesterday, you only need to reflare if its an abs MC. If non-abs, you'll be fine. Also, reflaring is not hard, you just need a special tool to do it.

I did some searching through yards and ebay and the abs model can be had, but the non-ABS model is out of stock everywhere.
So if I really want this, I have to flare one of the line.
I've read a few write ups and it doesn't look that bad. ~$40 worth of tools and I should be good to go.
Hopefully the local Autozone has the flare nut I need.
Now all I need to figure out is what brake fluid to use.
