Import Options (510) 784-0776 Hayward
DNR (510) 783-5200 hayward
Call and Price it out YO
I wouldn't go with LS rods, might as well go with Eagel or something that can support up to 500 + hp

Jack's Engine Supply in Oakland...Back when LDL was still located in the Bay Area, Dennis sends his LS/VTEC blocks there. I personally have send two motors to his shop. Really nice guy, and turn around time is within two days. His work is top notch.

Yeah this shop is local to me. I emailed them and they responded hella quik. But like you said, paying for work is a bitch, thats why i wanted to gather some background information before I dive in. Thanks for your help bro.

Alright, I did a little email tag with this shop in San Jose, and heres what the guy quoted me:
10 hours ($85/hour) to build the bottom-end (block). $200-300 for maching."
DC
IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL DYNOSPOT CUSTOMERS:
Dynospot has moved!! See our new address below.
Dynospot Racing

1798 Angela Street
San Jose, CA 95125
408.271.9800 phone
408.271.9880 fax
End of email.
What do you guys think? All i want them to do is re-hone the cylinders and brush the LS rods, notch the block, balance rods and crankshaft, and put it together. Is the average price or overpriced?

As far as i know import options is not the best place to go. My friend had dealt with them for a GSR swap and instead of recieving a 95 motor he was lied to and got a 96 motor put in. Also they got some high prices.
