Battery shorted ~ replace or can recharge ?
hi all - quick one.
Shorted my battery today (using a tool , it touched the ground wire on the battery and SPARK) - now it seems to be dead. No lights or no power at all coming from it...checked fuses and they seem fine.
Can it be recharged ? Or is it totally dead ?
cheers ben

Check your main power fuse. This has happened to me, and all I had to replace was that fuse. Even though it looks to be good, it may be blown. I would rather spend 5 or 6 bucks on a fuse, than 60 or so on a battery. Check the cheapest parts first.
