Unfortunately this is not normal as i'm sure you know.
If you have a good battery, a good alternator, and no short......your problem should be easy enough to find and fix. Offer more details concerning the issue please.
-How many times has this happened?
-When you cannot start the car, is it not even cranking?
-Has it been hot/humid where you're located (when this has happened)?
-Has the battery been relocated?
How did you check the alternator and starter to rule them out? also, how do you know there is no short in the car (can you explain the test/s you did to rule this out)?
Things to check,
-Make sure both battery terminals are tight and clean
-Follow the ground wire from the battery and make sure it's secure on both ends
(if you've already checked this stuff, good job)
Cheers

Re: Battery Issues. (SamSpade)
- Not sure on specific times, but everytime it rains...
- The car doesnt crank at all, completely dead.
- Yes, not neccesarily "hot", but i'd say 80's and humid after it rains.
- The battery is in its orginial location.
- Volt meter for the starter and alternator to test draw from battery. (I havent gone into much more with the volt meter, because of only happening when it rains. but visual inspection i see no obvious shorts.
- Terminals are tite and clean.
- The battery ground wire is secure.

Re: (ZappasOne)
Do you have a system in your car? Anything else you've wired up yourself?
I had this same problem in my car, it was due to my system getting wet. Ive got a crack in the rear quarter from an accident and water leaks in. It then splashed around and shorted everything out causing my battery to die. Took it out for a week, let everything dry out, then put it back in, rerouted my power cables and put my ground up higher, and it works fine now, even when it rains.
