Default BAR question..

hey for those of you who have your swaps BAR certified, does the referee actually check the CARB numbers on the header and intake to see if they are certified specifically for that setup, or does he just see the CARB sticker and say it's ok? Thanks

from my experience, he looked it up in a database on a computer to check the number and application. cause they print that out on the sticker...

still trying to get a k20 BAR'd? i still dont see how it could pass, with the aftermarket fuel lines and regulator needed

yea. technically the fuel lines and fpr are not stock parts. theres also an issue with the ECU and having to flash it. that might also fail

also the fuel tank on K series cars are pressurized and they have a pressure sender in them or something...technically you would need that to pass too

I guess I've got my work cut out for me (as well as a strict budget for the next few months...)
