i tried searching, but couldn't find the answer. whenever i go on the freeway and hit about 70 mph, my car begins to "weave" back and forth (think of it as you shaking the wheel left and right really quick)...it only happens when i hit a relatively high speed and is ok when i'm around normal speed. so....bad tires or need alignment?? whatever answer i get, imma go fix it today.

edit: front tires are bald and rear are brand new + ran over the mother of all potholes on monday and had to replace front left tire

rotate your tires. the good set to the front and the bad to the rear. if it changes anything, it's your wheels

Either you bent a wheel, or they are heavily out of balance. You should have it looked at by an alignment shop.

I kinda had the same problem, when I went on the freeway (around 70mph)my entire car started shaking and rattling, messaging my hands but very hard to control.

Later in the month I blew a tire and baught 2 new ones, both aligned correctly and after that everything was back to norm.

My bro. had the same thing and all he did was fix his alignment.
