Default bad mounts?

ok i have a b16 in my 93 eg w/ a gsr tranny and a 6 puck clutch but every time i shift fast it feels like my motor is slamming around and it makes a loud clunk noise and slams me in my seat but axels are brand new also, but the front tranny mount w/ 3 bolts in it has only 2 in it will this cause that noise? right now it has stock mounts but appear in good shape so please help,

hope this helps...its most likely just a torn bushing in the rear mount...is your motor hitting your hood at all?

have you tried letting someone else rev your car while your looking under the hood, then you can check all the mounts and see which one is loose or broke

best thing to do, is to take your hood of and go drive around the block so you can actually see what your engine is doing..

depends how mechanically inclined you are...its not that hard to get it off but lining the bolts up to get it back on can be a task

you just have to jack it up a little to be able to get the mount in and out

although it can be pain to get the motor in the perfect position with the jack, to get the holes for the mount to line up
