Bad ISB I believe, just swap instead?
So I bought the car with a trans noise last night, hence no posts here. My dad told me plan on replacing the trans so I did. After searching, I kinda figured it was the ISB because it rattles when nothing is engaged, and rattles sometimes when driving slow in lower gears.
My question is, is it just better to put the si trans? And what should I look for as far as price and model number? Btw it's a 95 CX

get a si tranny from any 92-95 civic ex/si. only about $200 on ebay, plus like $70 shipping. get a new clutch and flywheel while your down there...
putting a si tranny in a cx will make you feel like you have an extra 50 hp cause of the shorte gears...
