I have a 95 civic with a d15b vtec , i just got it ported and shaved and valve seals redone , when i got it back it was out of time bad . I sent it back to the shop and they put it in time a little bit more. it still boggs down when i slow down to a stop, and i can only go to 6500rpm and the motor can go to 7200rpm so whats going on. Vtec still kicks in and stuff but it doesnt pull like it used to before i got it ported. and i would've thought it would help but hell no its worse. WHATS WILD IS I WAS KEEPING UP TO MUSTANG v-8s before it got ported stock motor
and now im worse than a stock motor , but now a mini van can pull on me while i vtec. and a neon with 3 people stay with me. so something is wrong , help me out .
