It doesn't matter which head you go with if your going to rebuild the valvetrain cause they all can use the same valvetrain. The GS-R, B16A/B,B17 and Type-R have the same casting in head design. Just different valve train but I do believe which ever head you using will determine your compression. So do some more researching before you get the swap done. And you can use all VTEC cams...

Hope that helps

It doesn't matter which head you go with if your going to rebuild the valvetrain cause they all can use the same valvetrain. The GS-R, B16A/B,B17 and Type-R have the same casting in head design.
The casts are actually different.... The B18C has a P72 head which has a combustion chamber volume of 41.60cc's... The B16/17,CTR, and ITR all share the same casting (PR3) which has a combustion chamber volume of 42.70cc's... On average for a stock bore the PR3 head will yield a C/R 0.20:1 lower than a GSR (P72) head... The valve train is a little different and so are the cams... I personally like the GSR head better.. Once sent out to Portflow they all flow the same it's just the difference in the manifolds.... If you had the PR3 head you could run a ITR intake manifold which many people like... He're a link to a page that I posted my friend's CRVTEC Integra in... Good Luck https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=346093
