You need to search, that's what you NEED.
Please don't give me any bullshit about "but the search feature is down" - google still works fine and like I've said before, there's more info there then on H-T.

arp rod bolts and head studs are a must, an ls/vtec conversion kit, the vtec head needs to be tapped in order to accept a non vtec block, gsr water pump and timing belt

Dump your money into your motor you have now. You can build the **** out of it and get far better results than buying a whole new hybrid engine and going down in HP and torque. You should give your car back to your parents and ride the bus.

I agree, bore and sleeve that LS, go with forged pistons/rods - then turbo charge it.
You can make ~400whp easy. - 500whp too if you wanna go with a bigger turbo (but more turbo lag).
You'll pretty much blow away any stock Honda motor like it's in reverse.
If you really wannna get nasty, throw an ITR or B16 trans on there as well. Of course high RPM + hitting boost will rape ur gas mileage on the highway, but tradeoffs are tradeoffs.
