B20 vtec leaking oil from dizzy

Default B20 vtec leaking oil from dizzy

soo my eg coupe has a b20 vtec in it and its leaking oil from the cap on the dizzy right onto the upper raditor house down the the tranny. I replaced the o-ring but its still leaking. any advice from someone would be cool.

most likely didn't install it right or someone handed you a bad o-ring.

Were the cams from a running motor? I worry something bad could be going on there or torque wasn't applied evenly and in correct order for the cam caps. Another possibility is a bad bearing in the distributor.

Someone else want to chime in here?

I put it on right lol its not that hard and it was brand new from Honda. I am thinking a bad internal seal inside the cap

^^ This. Take the cap off and if there is oil inside the housing the shaft seal needs to be replaced.
