Default B20 swapped EG Misfires at 3k RPMs?

Car- 1994 Honda Civic SI
Motor- B20b low compression with ls intake manifold and obd1 ls distributor
Wiring- Stock SI harness (vtec and op are zip tied away)
ECU- Stock obd1 LS ecu
Problem- I will be driving along with my RPMS at say 1500. I give it some gas, and if i give it too much gas it will cut out/misfire sort of. This happens all the way till 3000rpms, and then it changes completely and runs perfect.

The swap was running completely fine, and i drove it from upstate NY down here to SC a few days ago (about 13 hours strait getting 36 mpg not one issue). I park the car for a day, start it up to move it and its doing this.

What ive done
Ive checked all grounds and redid my valvecover ground
popped off dizzy cap and it looks good

What Im thinking ill do
1. pull plugs when they cool down and check gap- any suggestions on what to gap them. I beleive i have them at .44
2. If that doesnt fix it, ill buy some new plugs
3. moving on, ill try a new cap and rotor
4. new plug wires?
5. ?

haha were in the same boat!

I also tried 93 as i was worried bc the last fill it said contains ethanol lol

I talked with my dad who was a master tech for years and he said most likely my tb has a vacuum leak, possibly from teh change in climate- ima go try to fix that and ill brb in ten to report back

yea i have a plugged vacuum leak on my motor.. i also dont have anything hooked up to the iac valve... but it wasnt a problem until now.. its no hotter this week than it was for the past month though.

the only thing i know i need to do... is an oil change. that wouldnt even matter..

ill keep you posted if i can think of something

- went for a drive today it was fine for 20 minutes. Then it started acting up below 3k. parked it for 15 minutes and now it was doing it the whole time?

The fuel filter is questionable, as are my injectors. Ill see what i can do with those. Maybe a can of fuel injector cleaner? as well as replacing the fuel filter??

I also am having a VSS issue- its jumpy. could that be causing it?? I pulled plugs and there a tad lean, but one was corroded at the hex part where the ceramic goes to the hex part? could it be HG? i can start it with rad cap off and coolant doesnt fly, and it has no smoke at all...

alright, i just swapped in a new rotor and cap, as well as i took off all the grounds, and sanded them down with 120 so they are nice and shiny- took it for a ten minute drive and it was all good... so maybe its fixed?

ls ones for obd1/2 and the stock b20 as well. obd1 and 2 are the same minus different plugs- you can solder the two together to make it work theres alot of charts online

make sure and check your grounds on the thermostat.. Had the same symptoms when i had a loose ground there. Felt as if it misfired when i floored it but would be fine if i slowly gave it gas...

If you guys are running a P75 stock ECU on a B20, you need a tune.
