95 LS in a eg having problems
Today I drove my car after my friends finished putting it in last night. While I was trying to give it gas it was bogging alot as if it wasn't getting fuel. Do you think this was the problem. We tried changing the ECU and it still did the same thing. Could it be something else???
My friend just called me and said he checked everything, He said its misfiring. He said he checked all the plugs cables everything. What you guys think its wrong. Cause when I was driving it felt like I wasn't getting enough fuel and it was misfiring. He even changed the motor harness and put another one from another ls. And still the same thing. Guys giving me your thoughts PLEASE!!!
are you throwing any codes?
i think you might be
if not, check the distributor wiring (like from dist. to spark plug)
start with the basics
did you change the spark plugs? might want too.

Excuse my ignorance but how do you throw the codes, maybe that might be it. My friend changed the spark plugs and he even changed the distributor and still did the same thing. I'm actually at work right now and I call him up with the ideas you guys give me so I appreciate the help thanks. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I just called my friend and he said that its throwing out codes 21 22. He also said that it burned an 95 ls ecu and 94 gsr ecu. WTF!!!!! Does anybody got any idea??? PLEASE HELP

Code 21 relate to VTEC.....my guess is you are using a VTEC ecu.

thanks. What would cause the ecu's to burn like that?? If you don't give gas to the car it just cuts off. Then when you give it gas it bogs and misfires.
You need to get an ECU that isn't looking for the VTEC solenoid. Just get a DX ecu for temp purposes.
And you definatly have some spark/fuel/air issues.....check all the vaccum lines yourself, it helps to have two eyes looking over a problem.
