Default b20 block with b16a2 head

sorry if its been nailed to death recently but us UK people are pretty new to the usage of the b20 block and US people seem to know a fair bit on this.

i got a few quick questions and if people copuld answer them i would be well pleased( ps its a jdm del sol b16a2, and assume its going to be NA and no i wont be doing the work, a uk specialist with hondas will) its really just to get a scale of the project before i go out and start buying stuff ***** nilly

first is the block: what needs to be done to the block to ensure it can rev high enough safely( pistons, liners etc)

second is gearbox: will my b16 g box (tranny) fit the b20 block

will i be able to use my driveshafts or will i need to get hybrid drivshafts produced with a combination of b16 and b20 inner and outer joints

what type of gasket should be used

are the original fuel pump , injectors capable of providing enough fuel once remapped or are uprated ones required

what head work should i undertake whilst bottom end is being built(ported, itr cams)

will my mugen 4-1 manifold from a jdm ek9 fit on the b20 block

and finally any reccomendations for what engine management to run it on? fully prog dta etc

many thanks for any replies and go easy on the abuse being from uk

Alright you Lymie bastard , 1. rev high... titanium springs & retainers (skunk2) <--suggestion, 2. tranny will bolt up 3. can't answer the driveshaft question cuz A) I don't have enough info or B) I had to many 's 4) gaskets, inj, and Fp are all dependant on future plans. Upgrades never REALLY hurt so gopher it. If its strictly NA, sure 215lph FP, GSR inj's, and a gasket is preference at this point. and 5) hell yeah, if you got the skrilla, 3-angle that head and P&P the hell out of it. For serious NA, ITR cams can easily be outdone. p.s. 6) Header will swap and heel-to-toe is the best engine management

to rev high with a B20 block, you should really swap out the rods for stronger units. you can use a GSR or ITR crank and rods in the block if you want to or have access to those parts, or you can use aftermarket rods and pistons on your B20 crank.

the valves and retainers are really for applications over 8000 rpm... and will vary on whatyou use as far as heads (vtec or not) and camshafts.

search the web for CRV VTEC or CRVTEC as there are many sites with the info you need....
