i was looking in sport compact car and i saw this story on four civic drag cars. the thing that confused me was they all had b20 bottom ends. can and b series heads fit on this block? and is it strong enough to turbo? what are the advantages of say a b20 block witha b18 head besides displacement?

honestly just displacement.. and since there is more displacement.. there will be more torque available at a lower rpm.. compared to say a 1.8 or 1.6 liter engine..and remember only use b20b/z blocks.. and not the b20a/b21 engines from the earlier preludes good luck,... any b series head be it vtec or not will bolt up to the b20b or b20z block since the b20 is identical to the b18a/b block only in that it runs a bigger bore 84mm to be exact
