Default b18c5 low end power

What can I do to give the b18c5 more low end power because it seems to make all its power @ high rpms

They don't have the torque to match up with higher displacement motors. H22=163 tq.

Also, vtec doesn't kick in until higher rpms, so that's why it seems like a lot of high end power.

You are not going to get good torque for cheap. More displacement, the more torque. If you are not going Forced Induction, don't look for torque at all. Get a V8.
