b18c1 swap. can I go to Cali?
If I get a b18 swap from hmotoronline.com will I be able to get pass the emissions? I hear hmo.com doesnt give any kind of document or anything.

Yes. Search about BAR certification in CA. I have a JDM B18C in a 1993 CX and I have a BAR sticker. My smog ref didn't give two ***** whether or not I had the reciept; he just wanted to make sure I had all smog equipment hooked up and that it passed "THE SNIFFER."

you don't need one you will need to go to honda though and get ur ecu verified other then that its all good you should be able to pass the bar inspection

on a sidenote... say you have a swapped car, you live in another state but go to cali (on vacation or something), and you get pulled over.... will they ticket you for not having CARB stickers/legal parts?

I would imagine they would ticket you for whatever violation they pulled you over for. If you were visiting then your license plate would show that you were from out of state; I would think that they would let it slide. I don't really know

depends on what year car with what year motor. I say if its lets say a 92 eg hatchie, then any motor newer or same year(besides the 97-00 crv motors dammit
