b18c1 swap in a 96 civic going into a 94 CX What should I do about the mounts?
The b18c1 uses all the integra gs-r mounts to fit in a 92-95 civic.
The swap comes with everything of a 96 swapped civic which means
Driver Side Mount from 99-00 SI
Rear Tranny bracket from 99-00 SI
Front Tranny GSR
Front A/C GSR
(If you want to keep A/C use the front A/C bracket from a DOHC del sol)
I don't want to pay $500 in mounts alone.
Is there a solution? remember, I want to fit this swap in a 94 CX...
Any ideas?

If it all came from a swapped civic, just put the newer mounts in your car. Think about it: if it came out of a swapped civic, it must be able to fit back in a civic...

the mounts for a b18c1 in a 96-2000 civic will not work for a 92-95 civic. u need the integra mounts 94-99, and the rear integra tranny bracket. u can use the stock civic rear mount thats on the cross member.

The 96 civic uses different mounts to accomodate a b18c1 than the 94 civic.

Can someone give an average cost? I was supposed to be saving money on the swap, but in that case I better off buying a swap that will inlclude the integra mounts.
Hasport sell them, for $150/mount

reuse the civic mounts except for the driver side uppper (use a 94-97 teg mount.. i have one for sale) if you want to retain ac.. use the delsol lower ac bracket... you will have to use the teg rear bracket with your b series motor to mount to the rear mount...

Can someone clearly explain to me what I would need?
the swap comes with the mounts it had on the 96 civic
I have a 94 civic.
How many intregra mounts do I need and how much $$$ are we talking about?

just did this last weekend.
let me tell it to you straight up.
First, the front lower two mounts on the B series, keep those to use on your 92-95 civic.
But you need a few things....
1) A 94+ integra rear mount bracket that attaches directly to the block.
I got one from LEN at Baranco Acura for $45 and $25 next day air shipping.
2) A drivers side mount bushing, the one I used was from a 1993 CX and bolted to the studs coming out of the 99-00 SI mount on the engine block behind the timing belt cover.
***If you do not have access to a 1993 (maybe other years) CX mount bushing, you can use the engine block stud bracket and mount bushing from a 94+ Integra. But to use the Integra mount bushing, you will need to change that stud bracket that is behind the timing belt cover... both parts may run you $80 total from LEN.
Use a tranny side mount from the D series or maybe even from the B series, I cant remember if the EK uses the same tranny bracket as the 92-95 with B series... but I do know you can unbolt a tranny side top mount from a 92-95 civic D series motor and use that for your B series tranny in a 92-95 civic.
good luck bro! youre not looking at more than $150 for what you need. if you go thru a honda-tech friendly dealer like LEN at BARANCO!
