B18C1 into a 96 hatchback
Hey im planning to do a swap...a b18c1 into my manual 96 hatchback...its a complete engine swap...but i read on a site it said i had to do some rewiring...what are they talking about? Do i still have to rewire if have the wire harness that comes with the b18c1?
I have the rear Si mount...the axles and ecu is there...they said i need to get a bracket if i wanted to install a/c, which bracket are they talking about?
All help is appreciated...ill probably have more questions later.

You wont be able to use that GSR harness.
The GSR harness and the civic harness are totally different. The only thing that the GSR harness is good for is stealing plugs from it.
You have the right rear mount, but if you want to run a/c, you will need to get a Del Sol a/c bracket.

I have a 98 honda civic ex manual engine in my car...so I'll have to use the EX wire harness?...will everything on the EX wire harness plug in correctly to the sensors and ECU of a b18c1?

Yeah, they should all work. The only thing that you will have to do is extend a few of the wires.
You have to add a few also. VTEC, secondary butterflies...blah blah. All should be noted in that site that I posted above.

The a/c bracket has to be from a the del sol vtec(b16). The sohc vtec one is different.
By the way my hatch is a 96. Good luck!
