Default B18C1 head on B16A block—What am I forgetting? + Questions

Looking to possibly swap a GSR head onto my B16A2. I have compiled a small list of things that I need, and would like anybody's help/input on it:

Spoon/Mugen 2-layer headgasket
TB gasket
AN-R/Hondata IM gasket
ARP head studs
Skunk2 IM
New O-rings for the IAC valve

I've read through some threads about people using the Skunk2 IM on their GSR head, in their GSR. Will I need the ITR throttle cable and throttle cable bracket? I assume I will not, as my current head is basically a lesser ITR head. What about the IAC valve? Will my stock B16 one work or will I need a different one? Again I'm assuming I can just use my stock one, since the Skunk2 IM and mine aren't that much different as far as I know...

Which brings me to my other major question: Can I use my stock TB or will I need a GSR one? I'm not too well versed on the TB differences.

Also, does the year of the head matter? My car is OBD-IIa ('96-'98). If I use an OBD-I or OBD-IIb head, will I need to add/remove any sensors? If it helps, I am planning to convert my car to OBD-I fairly soon, and run a Hondata setup. So does that make the year of the new head a moot point?

And finally, some general questions:

—Does it matter which head the fuel rail and fuel injectors are from?
—Ditto for the spark plugs.
—ARP head studs for the GSR, right?
—Will my current computer be okay to use with the new head? (shouldn't be a problem if I'm not using the GSR IM...?)

Thanks for any help that you can give me. I'm just trying to get an idea of what I'm up against, and whether this is actually a good idea or not

10.7:1 with a GSR head and 2-layer headgasket

Plus, no downtime for my car.

ARP studs for a B16A, NOT a GSR. GSR are too long for this application.

Quit whoring his thread. He asked questions and it seems you have nothing good to say. B18c1 heads work well with B16a blocks and make good upper end power. The year of the head doesn't matter, as long as you use parts the same parts from the B16a head (distributor, injectors).

You will have to do something about the secondary butterflies though, probably cap the vacuum line from them so they are always open, you will probably lose a bit of low end though.</TD></TR></TABLE>

whatever you say riceboy. and i think he mentioned a skunk2 IM so you can forget about the butterflies.
