Thanks, ya I was thinking, the motor cant run without air and if the throttle body is shut, there must be some air leaking in to let it rev like that. Your right it doesnt want to stay on, and when it trys to it shakes like its going to blow up and it revs like mad.

idle screw man. is up to like 4,000? lol my buddies B18C did that and we tightend the idle screw a little and it fixed it. also clean the IACV and FITV for good measures. if none of them work you prolly have a big leak somewhere else. i agree on checkin your throttle cable as well and see if its not opening the butterfly. start looking and GL!

Sounds wierd but... make sure the right sensor is plugged into the MAP sensor.. My buddy and i were installing a JDM B16 into his 95 coupe and it ran like crap and rev'd reallllly high, Then we switched the sensor.. And now it runs fine lol.

Already been mentioned, but check for a vacuum leak if the TB was off of the head. I had replaced the head on my car and when putting it back on, one of the dudes helping me left a little part of the old gasket on it still and it did the same thing!

Remove the throttle cable from the throttle pulley
Install and adjust your tps properly
Make sure the tps and map sensor lugs aren't switched around
Check for any vacuum leaks such as a bad throttle body gasket or something like that
Your throttle body valve pulley may be stuck open a bit... remove your air intake and manually press on the throttle pulley with your thumb and open the throttle.. then release it and see if it closes all the way. Sometimes it gets stuck so clean the inside of the throttle body if its full of crap
