B18C motor reassembly questions
Hi everyone,
I have a "piecemealed" B18C1 that I was looking to get put back together. The cams were worn, so I got replacement cams and also opened the bottom end for inspection. I am replacing the head gasket and many of the seals.
My question is -- what do I need to do to get the block/head back in sync, timing-wise? Is anything in the block relevant to the compression/relief stroke, or do I just set the block at TDC and then configure the head to match? If that is the case -- how do I know what position to start the cams at?
