Default B18C into EK need opinions

I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX that i will be swapping an obd1 B18C motor and tranny into. I have a 99 LS motor that im pulling the injectors and alternator off of. I will be using the obd1 gsr distributor but i will be repinning my stock EX harness to allow for the obd1 distibutor. I've got the motor and will be doing the repinning and obd2 conversion throughout the week and will be dropping it in over the weekend. I have several questions pertaining to the ecu. I have a 99 SI ecu, 96-98 ITR ecu, and also a p72 available to me, i just dont know which one would better suite my needs. Emissions doesnt matter but i do not like hackjobs so i will not want any CEL'S because of the ecu. I know i will need a jumper harness if i decide to use the ITR ecu. Anyone out there that's done this swap i would appreciate your input as to which ecu i should use. Also what did you guys do about the butterflies? I've done research about it all im just looking for input, thanks in advance-Steve

if you plan on running a completely stock gsr with the stock butterfly manifold i would run the gsr ecu so you can still activate the butterflies. if you end up getting an aftermarket manifold like a skunk2 or anything without butterflies you could run the type r with no problems. also you could pick up some type r cams to go along with the ecu and that would gain you a few hp. the only problem you may run into using the obd1 motor with an obd2 ecu would be the crank position sensor. the obd1 oil pump doesnt have one and i believe all obd2 ecus look for that so you will throw a check engine light. since u dont have to worry about emmisions going obd1 may be your best be like redhatchguy said. good luck
