b18c into 93 sedan
Just trying to compare prices on installs of full 5th gen swap ready b18c installs. So far I have heard 500-700 up near my home (u.s. dollars)
what prices have you guys seen? I am gonna by one from a guys 5th gen hatch and throw it right into my sedan with motor mounts and the works include, so it should be straightforward for the shop to do
thanx

500 or so is a "fair" price but be prepared to get nickled and dimed to death, especially if you are not "buddies" with the "shop" working on your car. Little parts end up missing and can cost you a lot of money if your swap is not 100% complete. Also, I would insist on quick turn-around time with the swap. Anything more than having the car for 2-3 days is unnaceptable. The swap takes a 3-4 hours. Don't let them screw you around.

Cool good thoughts ....well i have the option of buying an engine from another gth gen owner, and the shop will use all his stuff and put it into my car. THey quoted 700 CDN. I figure they will nickel and dim me ya, and i am unsure about turn around time at this point.
