what up I have been into euro cars for like 4 years, but I had to get rid of my p.o.s. Audi. so got a nice lil cheepy hatch for only 3500....and right now The lil overflow container (white/next to radiator) the **** inside of it... its ****** brown.im not much of a car person. but ****.... im pretty sure thats coolant... and coolant shouldnt be ****** brown... this next weekend im flushing the whole thang... but why is it brown? and btw... if im not getting any heat or cool air. thats my thermostat. right? wheres a place ican order one for cheep? well who ever replies to this with any help. thank you.... hit me up on aim.. i think it could be a number of diff things... doono about that brown coolent.. really really old? how are your coolent levels right now? I think best thing to do would be to flush it out and just put all new stuff back in and make sure to bleed it. I wasnt getting heat at all because there was air in my heatercore (mini radiator that blows heat 4u)

top of my head i doono if cx has A/C .. if it does then you probably have to recharge it..... past owner gettin high off freon?

It might be rust. Antifreeze gets basic/acidic (can't remember) after a while, and starts to eat stuff.
