b18b1 swap mount prob/steering rattle
I recently bought a 95 civic with a b18b1. Had to replace the upper driver's side mount and the rubber in the replacement slid out of the metal casing. So I exchanged it for a more well built one and now it's slightly starting to do the same, not near as bad or quickly as the other. I was told yesterday by someone that the cause is the passenger trans mount needs the spacer cut off and switched to the other side of the mount because it's holding the engine crooked. Just wanted to know if that's true or not.
The other problem is my steering is rattling when the wheel is straight, gets heavy when I'm over 50 mph. It sounds like its coming from near the firewall. Can't find anything loose underneath or inside the cab. Might just need to balance the tires.
Thanks yall
