I've been thinking about doing a B20 or LS swap into my EX just for a cheap fix for the high mileage Y8 thats in there and I got to thinking... can I just buy stock OEM mounts from a '00 SI? Will these allow me to drop a B series in? (of course I know the ECU and other items will need changed for the swap)

Or is there a reason I have buy the pricey swap mounts?

I know its probably on here somewhere and I've looked but haven't came across it yet..

you the rear "T" bracket. the one that goes to the subframe, and the bracket that bolts to the block on the timing belt side.
"pricey swap mounts" are only the rubber mounts themselves even if you bought those you would still need the rear t bracket and the timing belt bracket anyways.
all hydro tranny mounts and brackets are interchangable.

So basically if I go to my honda dealer or local parts supply and get a set of OEM mounts for a '00 SI then I should be almost ready to drop my B20 in?

yeah the dealer is one place to go.

the rear T-bracket is incredibly easy to modify though i didn't waste my money. And you can find timing belt brackets on ebay for pretty cheap and it will be just as good as OEM
