B18B or built D?
hey im new and was wondering for some input
should I get a B18B and slowly build it for boost
or build a D for boost?
which is better for street use and has more possibilities

b18b boosting man...later on its going to be worth it..

thanks for the help i am thinking of getting a b soon and working on it thoughout the winter im new to honda engine building.. prolly jus do low comp pistons new rods and have it balanced then get a big snail

i want to put like 1 grand into building and save like 3000 for the turbo (custom pieced together kit) itll be fun

alot of people say boost the d cause if it breaks they are cheap- fact is that ls motors arent much more, maybe 2 or so hundred more, and they have more potential due to larger displacement.... buy the b18, build it up over the winter and then swap it in a turbo in the spring. this was my plan until i realized i have no money
