b18a1 in my ej6
wats up h-t, later this week i will be buying a 93 b18a1 complete swap with about 80k from a buddy and ive done many searches to answer a couple of questions i have about this swap into my car but all the info i get basically still leaves me confused, so here it goes:
-since the ls motor comes with a cable tranny, will i be able to swap it out for a hydro tranny?
-will it bolt right up? will i need misc parts to make it work?
-mounts, will i need both the driver side and rear mounts from a 99-00 si?
TIA

You can bolt any hydro b series tranny to that B18A1.
Treat the mounts as if you were swapping in any other B-series engine.
I know that there is mounting info for the 1996-2000 civics in the stickied FAQ topic up top in this forum.
If you had an Eg I could give you a 100% answer, but since I'm not the EK guy you can find the definate answer up top.

you will need all new mounts because your going from a d-series to a b-series.
you can switch any B-SERIES trannies, in other words dont go putting your d16 or d17 tranny on your b18.
other than that it should all pretty much bolt up

you will have to change 3 mount one right next to the time belt one right ontop of the tranny and then the tranny tourqe mount one, and i think you replace this on with that from an 00si
