B18A1 in 92 civic hatch
Hey guys, I just bought a B18A1 out of a 90 integra at the junkyard (for a steal of $119). Anyways im planning on swapping it in my hatch. The tranny is a cable tranny, so i need to do a hydro to cable conversion. Is the best way to do it is to just buy a conversion kit?? Another issue ill have is axles. Which ones do i use?? I heard the stock integra ones have a problem with the hubs on civics. One more thing, motor mounts. Is there any stock mounts that will work with this application?? Im too cheap to buy them from HAsport but it looks like thats what i need to do, unless i hear otherwise. Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! This is my first B-series and im extremely excited. Thanks guys!

If you wanna do it and do it right but spend a few bucks you will want to get a cable to hydro kit, a b series swap mount kit, HAsports is really nice, and any b series axle besides the b20 axles will work. just order them to match the motor.

Hell yeah thanks man. What about ECU and wiring harness?? i plan on taking a intake manifold off of a 92-95 integra because my buddy said it will be easier with a custom harness. Someone took the ECU before i could get to it so do you know which one would work best?? Same with the harness, any info is always appreciated!

is it an OBD1 or OBD0 engine? the best way to go is OBD1 and use a d16z6 harness and not use the VTEC wires... and then a p28 ECU,get it chipped and tuned.

Yeah its OBD0, but wouldn't i need an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion wire?? I ran into this problem with my mini-me swap in my del sol, lol. As for the p28, I can just run wires for VTEC when i decide to go LS/VTEC right??

yea... if you use a p28 ecu you dont need the OBD0-1 harness because the p28 is a OBD1 ECU. the D16z6 harness is OBD1 also so there will not need to be any converting. and yes you can use the wires when you go LSV
