I am swapping a b18a from a 93 civic hatch into a cleaner shell, also a eg civic hatch. I already found the auto to manual swap thread because i will be needing to do this but is there any thread on how to pull a motor or do a swap so i can look it over before i do it? I have never done either and want to look it over so i dont mess anything up while doing it. or even a how to remove axles and ill guess on the rest. any imput is appriciated

keep searching, (search specifics)
get the axle nuts loose
undo the battery
jack up car
drain coolant
undo the wiring harness, leave it on the engine and undo it from the sides so it goes with the engine(much easier)
undo the heater hoses, fuel hoses, torque mounts
undo shift linkage(easist way is just unbolt it from the car under thee shifter and let the linkage go with the tranny)
hook up a chain to the engine 1 chain on the engine mount 1 on the tranny loop bracket. or jack the car waaaaay up and drop the engine out the bottom(if you dont have a cherry picker)
unbolt exhuast
unbolt the engine and go up or down with it, then in reverse put the other motor in. dont forget to bleed the coolant and clutch and use the proper ecu...hopefully you wont get any CELS
