b18 swap IAT sensor cause car to bog down when given gas?
hi, i've recently swapped a obd1 b18b1 into my 97 civic. im using my regular obd2 harness with obd2 p75 ecu
wiring that i've done..
3 to 2 wire iacv (done that when i did my mini me swap)
ckf bypass trick
rewire the distributor
rewired injector clips
and thats all the wiring that i've done.
anyways my car will start up and idle up and down and i would hear a sucking sound. and when i give it gas, it just bogs down. note i've checked all my vaccum lines and hoses and they are all connected.
i've also change my fuel injectors and fuel rail and its still doing the same so i don't think its a fuel problem.
so i've gotten the code read and it says "intake air temperature sensor curcuit high" or something like that. but i've tried to erase that code and i wouldn't let me.
i've changed that sensor and its still doing the same thing (the black sensor on the right side of the intake kinda UNDER the throttle cable bracket held on my 2 phillips head screws if anyone knows what im talking about)
soo would that iat sensor cause my car idle up and down and bog down like that? i've already changed it do i have to do any wiring to that or something?
please help!!! thank you

I may be way off on this one but I thought I remember hearing the TPS and IAT plugs are similar and could be switched.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Not wrong. Or is it Map and IAT? In any case....
Post the exact code you are getting. And check for swapped sensor plugs.

naw there not switched i made sure they werent because i've made that mistake before.... an iat sensor wouldn't cause this to happen?
or maybe i could be wrong, if those wires were switched wouldnt that make my car backfire if i tried to give it gas?
