b17a1 in an eg hatch!vaccum leak?
i just got done swapping in a b17a gsr motor in my hatch but now it feels like i have a vacum leak can anyone help me on what to do about all the vaccum hoses...

Just look if any are coming loose or already disconnected. If non are then you shouldnt have a problem (unless if there hooked up wrong). Atleast thats where i would start.

it depends... there are 2 styles of map sensors: firewall mounted and throttle body mounted. do you have hole on the top of the TB to mount the MAP sensor? then that's where it goes. if ur tb just has a tiny nipple on it, then you need a firewall mounted map sensor

well the manifold has vaccum hoses all thorugh the top..and i have no idea where they go... they are hooked up but i doubt they are hooked up right.the car must have a firewall mount map sensor becasue there is no place for a map sensor to be mounted on the TB. nowi took off the map sensor that was on my old motor and just ran the hose that comes from the TB to there and motor began to idle real high. and if i leave the vaccum line alone.the motor will keep like idleing up and down..at a fast rate... any ideas?i really want this motor to run smooth..
