Default b17 swap

sorry if this is in the wrong section but I want to know how much a complete b17 swap would cost me. Includes ecu, axels, tranny, everything and has dc sport headers and aem adjustable cam gears. The motor has around 80k and the only problem is it grinds 5th gear sometimes. I know its basically a b16 but I know its rarer so how much would this cost?

i would put my guess around 1500 total. if the tranny grinds in 5th i would just replace it with a b16 tranny which is a closer gear ratio any way. im guessing you have an EG so it will be just like any b16 swap so used parts for them are every were and there going pretty cheap since every one is doing k swaps.

when i did my b17 swap into my eg i'd say i spent close to $1500 for everything i needed. of course the complete motor i bought was $900. shift linkage, ecu, half shaft and axles added up. but that was me. did the swap myself and the only $ i spend now is gas.

are you doing this yourself or going to a shop? shop labor is pricey.
