How much did you spent on your swap?
People in CA where did you get your swap from and how much? I'm trying to find the best shop to do it for me for a reasonable price. I have a 95 DX and I'm not really familiar with swaps. What do I need to complete a B16 swap (tranny, wiring etc.)?

i say go to a reputable engine supplier like import auto salvage, hmotorsonline, etc etc..
and get a complete swap...
then read up on honda-tech how to do the swap and swap the motor in yourself....
its not that hard...i did it...

got mine (B18C1) for 3200 installed, tuned, including the turbo kit and all the other goodies put on it.
it's not hard, as long as you have the tools

i got my 98 jdm b20b longblock for 9 bills from jpr.i got my 2000 gsr tranny as long as all the other parts such as axles, shift linkage, ecu, etc. from the http://www.recycler.com all together i spent $2100.im installing it with my homie.go to jpr they had a gripp of b16's laying around when i went.their located in la mirada.btw if you want a first gen b16 its around $1400 for the whole swap not including install but if u want a jdm b16 second gen theres a big *** price difference of ummm around $700.just look around for deals on different websites and honda-tech before you buy anything.

Damn bro with the b18c1 u got a nice deal. I got a b18c for 3200 plus 200 shipping. Me and my boy are putting it in but if i were to pay labor **** I would be definatly over 4000 bills. Anyway it's a jap motor and someone if anyone could point me to a link that shows wiring diagrams and the wires that hook INTO the engine and sorts.. thanks.

i got mine from them to paid a bit more than other places for my itr swap but the motor is perfect. great condition besides a few scrapes on the valve cover, but i think most motors imported have valve cover chips

i got raped.
$3200 for a '95 B18C from HMO + $200 shipping + $300 for LSD
$220 for various hoses, fuel filter, timing belt etc...
over $1000 for labor (here's where i got raped)
i also bought a JDM DC 4-1 header and a Carsound cat, which came out to be a little over $500 togther.
when all was said and done... i paid almost $6000 for my swap.
pretty sad when my car only cost $5700.

Re: How much did you spent on your swap? (JV)
I see you live in so cal. You should check out JDMrecycler.com. They had a display at the LA auto show back in January. I bought my motor from them, I originally paid to have a 2nd gen JDM b16 swapped in my car. When I went to pick it up I was looking at it and noticed that it wasn't a 2nd gen, they gave me a 3rd gen JDM EK motor! The motor is sick, very high compression, gifted motor. There usually is'nt much on their website, but they have a couple garages loaded with JDM clips, seats, race cars. Awesome people, great to do business with.
Total price was around $3,200+ I had alot of stuff replaced, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, axles, new mounts, etc....
